Robyn started playing the trumpet between ages 8 and 15 , but struggled with the typical classical education style, however in her late 20's she started working with Tony Douglas MBE and learnt to play by ear and use rules to inform her learning,
in January 2016 Robyn saw Spacehaeds ( Andy Diagram and Rivhard Harrison) at the windmill in brixton , upon realising Andy was from the same planet as her , and how her left field music making with instruments that required two hands ( which she struggled with due to hemiplegia) Robyn took the tecniques Andy was using to articulate her musical ideas,
In 2017 Heart N Soul a charity who believe in the talents and power of people with learning disabilities ( www.heartnsoul.co.uk) started supporting Robyn in March 2018 Robyn will speak at SXSW
