Rob EvilEye proves passion for music knows no expiration. Originally from Fredericton and now based in Montreal, his story is rooted in rhythm and resilience.
During undergrad, he befriended the host of CHRS 97.9’s BassBin, a campus radio show where they explored electronic music’s history and artistry. Immersing himself in genres like techno and deep house, he developed a deeper appreciation for groundbreaking sounds. Later, his connection with the Ultrasound Collective—Steve the Viking, Mizz Maxine, and SoundSyster—sparked his DJing journey. By 2007, he was crafting sets that seamlessly blended tech house, minimal, and techno.
Eighteen years later, EvilEye is back, blending driving techno, groovy tech house, and jazzy deep house. With decades of musical exploration, he brings passion and artistry to the decks—where his sonic journey is just beginning.
