I will integrate three-theorist perspective in my story. McClearey, who suggest that in early adolescence we; (1) still connected to parents, desires direction and advice but on own terms (2) looking to peers for support and like mindedness (3) Experimentations and explorations of boundaries (4) interested and confused by own development (5) physical maturity exceeds social and cognitive skills.

Maslow’s theory, Hierarchy of Needs, with the base being physiological needs; Safety
Needs, Belonging Needs, Esteem Needs, and Self-actualization.

Piaget’s theory, Cognitive Development; thinking processes: Sensorimotor Stage,
Preoperational Stage, Concrete Operational Stage, and Formal Operational Stage.

The significant incidents that I have chosen to refer to will take place during the middle childh
