Hello to all, my real name is robert mayne & as far back as i can remember i have always loved music & sharing the music i love with others.
During the early 1980s when hip hop / b boy culture 1st came over from the united states i was instantly hooked , in particular it was the graffiti element which really caught my interest & i went on to become a pretty well known "graff" artist in the west midlands during the mid-late 80s, often spraying my art onto the side of parked up trains at 3 in the morning or walking the railway lines from coventry to all of the surrounding cities & towns to "bomb the lines" . These really were memorable times & the soundtrack to these times was supplied by the likes of eric b , public enemy , ice t , nwa et cetra Even back then i enjoyed the beats more than the lyrics. I went to my 1st rave in 89 and got a pair of decks in 92 & have been a dj ever since following those breakbeats all the way to the DnB of today
