Robin Thornton

I am a singer/songwriter from Aberdeenshire, Scotland. My songs are self-styled as, "Gunk". Gunk music is like Grunge music, but with British sensibilities. Broadly speaking it is acoustic folk music with harmonic choices which muddy the emotional content. Lyrical themes range through love and social commentry (Gunk is influenced by Punk). Some songs have a rhythmic drive that would get any Festival dancing (Gunk is influenced by Funk).
