Robin Crutchfield moved to NYC in the mid-70s to participate in the growing performance art scene. After some critical success, crossing over into music and forming the no wave bands DNA, and Dark Day. He's made the rounds of various venues including Max's Kansas City, CBGB's, The Mudd Club, TR3, Hurrah's and others. His art has been on display at The WHitney Museum and MoMA. He has started his own independent label and released a number of albums, as well as publishing two books, one of his fairy tale collections, and one of his artwork. He currently hosts a weekly radio show on Monday nights at Luxuriamusic.com from 11pm-1am Eastern time called The Dark Day Escape Pod.
