Robbie Charles started Djing in 1987 with musical interests of soul, raregroove and then new electronic music from streetsounds complications. Evolving from Electro into the Chicago House sound of the late 80s and early 90s where warehouse underground ‘rave’ culture was born.
Playing at the infamous London Pirate club events, Vision-On and southcoast Sterns amongst others & London underground venues & events such as Rhythm Method & Nunca Nunca the sound was deep underground US house. Record labels such as Emotive, Nervous, Strictly Rhythm to name a few.
Since 2015 Robbie has been involved with Digitalsoul events and added and upgraded his sound system to a 36K Martin Audio Rig. He also plays every Thursday on https://back2houseradio.com/ 4pm-6pm. GMT
The sound to-date is always quality, deep soulful and afro house vibes, always creating a journey taking the audience into deep submersive basslines to vibrant highs with strong soulful vocals.
