Ricky started his DJ career in 1984 on the Ligurian Coast and Côte d’Azur, going on to perform in the best Italian and international clubs. Between 1990 and 2000, he became the youngest of the top Italian DJs and one of the most representative of Italian house music and Old School.
He has deposited over 500 pieces with labels such as Salsoul, Waako, Irma, ZXY, Ocean Trax, Purple Music, Sony and Virgin.
Beyond music, he is an Imagineer and Director of Acqua Village Studio, conceiving award-winning attractions and leading brand communication for over 25 years. He has been digital manager for Italian actress and TV host Vanessa Incontrada and creative director for international fashion brands.
Ricky currently continues as producer and remixer, collaborating with Irma Records on “Ricky Birckyno Classic Remixes”, revisiting songs by acclaimed international artists.
