Starting his clubbing journey in London way back in the early 90's Rick developed a deep love of Hard House, Acid House, and Techno.
Being on the Club scene was the only way forward for a bedroom wannabe DJ, so after handing out cassette tape after tape of recorded sets he ended up landing a residency with his best friend at FIERCE in Soho and Kings Cross. FIERCE was a dark and hedonistic underground club off the normal club scene and was not for the fainthearted, it started on Sunday mornings and went on throughout the day until we got told to stop.
Rick regularly clubbed at Trade, Sherbet, The Fridge, Heaven, and DTPM. This kept him in the scene and abreast of the newest sounds.
The vinyl has sadly disappeared and been exchanged for mp3's, but Rick's passion is solidly with the bouncier side of Minimal Techno.
Where next? Rick would love to move into radio, either pirate or commercial, on the south coast.
