Bio: Rick Davis, Owner of Amaryllis, Inc.

Rick joined Amaryllis in 1989, its inaugural year. He became its chief designer and principal innovator, spearheading its transformation from a simple flower shop in a hotel basement to one of the leading special event companies in the mid-Atlantic region. He is known for his creativity, attention to detail and use of unique product.

Rick took over the reins of Amaryllis in 2002 and has continued to expand its reputation throughout the area. He is a seven-time ISES award winner and has been featured in numerous publications, including Town & Country, Victoria, Washingtonian, Southern Accents Engaged Magazine and Grace Ormonde’s Wedding Style magazines, as well as the Washington Post.
