
Growing up in the metro Atlanta area, Richie Lucov's musical influences stem from a number of different genres ranging from hardcore, and metal to dirty south rap. Growing up, he played in the school band for a number of years, then moved on to learn guitar during his high school years. After high school, Richie moved to the Bay Area, where he became involved in the electronic music scene. After attending a number of club events and underground raves, he started learning to dj and produce music. Richie first produced dubstep under the alias Gritlock, with his best friend Jason Frank. In 2015 Richie decided to pursue a solo project, in which he mainly focuses on different styles of house music. Richie's greatest musical influences include: Outkast, Sublime, Chiodos, The Mars Volta, Rusko, Mat Zo, Wolfgang Gartner, and Above & Beyond.
