Richie Kiernan

Dublin, Ireland

Like most young boys at the tender age of 13, Richie Kiernan started fiddling with a lot of things, luckily for him turntables were one of them when he got his first set of KAM belt drive vinyl record decks. From that moment on he was hooked, every Saturday morning he religiously jumped on the bus and spent whatever money he had in the DJ mecca that was ‘Abbey Discs’ going through all the latest releases and hassling Billy behind the counter for a few exclusive white labels to complement his growing record collection.

Richie’s radio journey started with the old Rhythm 105.7fm and he then went on to start his own project with Dublin’s Digitalfm. Richie also spent some time on Dublin station Tallaght FM. Most notably for Richie was his highly acclaimed guest mix on Ministry of Sounds’ HedKandi Radio.

Not content with spinning a records on these shores Richie also spent some time spinning on boat parties with Pukka Up in Ayia Napa where his sets always pleased the most discerning party
