Rich comes from a family of musicians that draw influences from an array of differing musical style, ranging from Jazz, Funk and Soul, to Rock/Pop, Blues and Hip-hop. Aside from being an active member in a number of bands/projects such as Mango Factory, Murrumbidgee, Skuse, Inextremis, The Trish Brown band and The Warpspeed Orchestra, his latest solo project, self-titled, The Richard O'Brien Project fuses together styles of Jazz, Funk and Soul into a melting pot of musical sound. His debut album, Frisky, is due for release later this year and is sure to create a bit of a stir, with a single titled 'Momentum' already out for sale on Itunes and most of the other internet music services.
