re:tro flava is a Croatian DJ, hip-hop aficionado, music journalist and audio engineer in the making.
Born in Umag in 1989, he spent his childhood absorbing every segment of hip-hop culture and movement, and discovering the various genres that later shaped him as a DJ and fan music.
He primarily develops his style under the influence of hip-hop and drum'n'bass, with which he often deals genres like breakbeat, breaks, funk, soul, while paying special attention to vintage sound like swing, jump blues and rock’n’roll music.
