Resonance was set up in Reading some six years ago as a small night at reggae venue Bar Iguana pushing drum and bass and dubstep to the locals. Moving from strength to strength, a bi weekly residency was built up at the Purple turtle alongside 2nd drop records and we moved on to bigger nights at Plug n Play studio's.Here, with 3 room mashups of dubstep, dnb, jungle, reggae, funk, hip hop, garage, old skool and breaks, we built up the foundation for what we wanted from our nights and compiled a list of dj's still with us to this date. In 2009 we bagged a monthly residency at Bar Mango's to create the biggest running dubstep night in the county. So far the decks at Mango's have seen performances from:
Skream, N Type, Tes La Rok, Breakage, Dubchild, Kromestar, Hatcha, Silkie, Quest, THC and Wil Blaze, Heny G, Quantum Soul, Jay five, Afterdark, Djinn, 2nd Drop records, Razor Rekta and Benny Page.
