Herewith a soundtrack to my poem...
Red the Stain
Red the stain of blood on cotton,
Spilled by bodies flushed with fear,
Red as roses, red as war flags,
Red as twilight's crimson sphere,
Red the sun through shuttered eyelids,
Red the heart in love's embrace,
Madness for the red of passion,
Colouring my sweetheart's face,
I devour the leaves of autumn!
Tiring of the garden green,
Maples flaring bonfire plumage,
Lighting up like gasoline!
Red as lavish lava flowing,
From the wide volcano maw,
I will lap those flaming waters,
With my tongue and gorging jaw,
I will leap into the hellfire,
Stoking more the sulphur blaze,
Days of darkness, days of sorrow,
Torched and burned in smoky haze,
I will fan the red within you,
Coaxing forth a ruddy cheek,
When my love dost softly woo you,
Giving you the thrill you seek,
Oh that I could die in crimson,
Washed away in summer heat,
Fast apace to meet my maker,
In the clouds at heaven's seat...

Great set again, few would think of juxtaposing these songs with these interludes, but it's triumphantly weird and excellent! Hats off!
Just the current obsession with poetry manifesting everywhere, including music land. Thanks for the feedback.
Sensational sampling by the Coil lads there.
That Coil track is something hey. My friend Jade called it an invocation of clockwork orange in music, which is kind of true.
