One Mic Stand

A few weeks back Reform Radio went down to Contact MCR to check out One Mic Stand, an extremely well attended and engaging night of spoken word, poetry and hip-hop. Brilliantly hosted by the enthusiastic and damn right inspirational Reece Williams (project co-ordinator at Young Identity who were running the event), the night featured some stunning performances, great live jams and a vibrant poetry slam. We caught up with the man himself and some of his team to discuss the night and the importance of events such as these in general.
