A 20-year veteran of the scene, DJ John Kim's first gigs were at underground warehouse parties in the glory days of the San Francisco rave scene in the early-2000s.
Owing to his meticulously programmed sets, flawless transitions and intelligent track selection, John quickly earned a reputation as one of the most technically proficient DJ's in the scene.
Since then, John’s sound has continued to evolve and mature, but has remained remarkably true to his roots: the lush, emotive, and symphonic epic house sets pioneered by the likes of Sasha, John Digweed, and Dave Seaman in the mid-to-late 1990's. John truly believes that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts; that a coherent set has a beginning and an end that communicates a story to the listener.
