Thys Esterhuysen AKA Gizmologist AKA Ingo Swann is a Dj/Producer from Cape Town South Africa focused on the more eclectic side of the trance scene with a style ranging from melodic house, techno, dark progressive, tech trance and zenonesque. Starting his musical journey in 2000 after frequenting Getafix back when Trance was a dirty word and hearing psytrance for the first time was a match made in the cosmos. Inspired by the music he promptly sold his guitar and amp to build a pc and start writing music. Writing as Audiodust and after fiddling with knobs and faders for a few years he went on to start his dj career and in doing so refined his sound and style ultimately emerging as Gizmologist. Influenced by artists from the garden route and the classic zenonesque style coined by Zenon.recs.
