Here's how I got into DJing and the genre I enjoy most. In 2016, I still hadn't found my music genre and I was still experimenting listening to different sounds. Then, I stumbled across the music collection of a relative which had different sub-genres of dance music. I really enjoyed a track called Chicane - Spirit (Wawa Remix) and I found that this was played on a radio show called A State of Trance (ASOT) in 2007. And so began my journey into the the rabbit hole of trance and progressive. I enjoyed the genre's tracks from the 00s and 90s so much that I got into DJing in 2017. As of today, I love making classic trance mixes although I have dabbled in other genres such a drum and bass/jungle. I don't see myself moving from trance/progressive anytime soon and I would love to start sharing my mixes here since I make them every week.
