An aspiring bedroom DJ from London, self-taught to mix music and shamelesy sharing his journey from clumsy transitions to less clumsy transitions
(I mean, hopefully). I also try not to use the effects. Instead, I try to find an interesting moment while mixing two tracks and let the music do the talking.
My love is Progressive House, a deep, hypnotic, chunky, dark, banging kind of genre. The masters who defined my taste and I look up to are Anthony Pappa, John Digweed (obviously), Hernan Cattaneo, and so many others. Apart from the groovy oldschool beats,
I enjoy modern, deeper (and sometimes softer) sounds of intelligent and moody downtempo, organic and deep house (but deep!).
I consider myself a very fussy-picky listener, and definitely not everything suits my taste even within the genre.
To me, it really doesn't matter if a track is from 2003, or from a week ago. If they sound together well, they will end up in my mix. Sometimes you can hear it was a vinyl rip but hey!
