Hello folks. I'm Cat and I've been presenting music radio shows for the past 14 years on various radio stations. For over seven years now I have presented and produced this show 'The Record Shop' on Gateway97.8. The show for me is like a love letter to the second hand record shops where I spent most of my spare time when I was growing up.
The Record Shop is a weekly music show that shines a light on new and vintage album tracks, EP’s and singles. The show focuses on many different genres of music, handpicking the best songs just for you.
The show came about due to the fact that so many of my favourite record shops have closed down and I wanted to do something to keep the spirit of going out there and finding music alive. There are so many great records old and new that deserve to get played and thats what I try to do on this show.
