COFI (a.k.a Recoil Recoiled) smelled vinyl as a 4 year old who scratched his parents’ records. He started mixing in 1992 when he played Chicago house tracks from Frankie Knuckles, Inner City, David Morales or Brothers in Rhythm. At that time he was influenced by presently non existing radio Ragtime, Bratislava based U- Club and bands like Leftfield, KLF, FSOL, Renegade Soundwave, Joy Division, New Order, Depeche Mode, Recoil and later on German scene revolving around TRESOR label. Since 1994 he’s been in DEEPSPACE.SK booking which organized events called PLEASURE in capital’s clubs like Elam, U-Club and Radost). A few years ago he moved to Banska Bystrica where he played mostly in Centrum Music Club and Farhof Art Club as resident with show SEVEN and PLEASURE. He labels his dj mixes as deep, groovy, house, techno and dub mixture.
