Something about Rebeca
Rebeca, founder of Art-Infusion and registrar at the London College of Accountancy, where she has worked for eleven years, had the dream of creating Art-Infusion while still a young girl. Now, after a life in which she has not only been surrounded by art but has also been heavily involved in business she has achieved a lifelong ambition.
During her early working life Rebeca became the “eyes” of American novelist, travel writer and renowned war correspondent, Martha Gellhorn, whose eyesight had sadly deteriorated. Gellhorn first achieved international recognition for bravely covering the Spanish Civil War with her then husband Ernest Hemingway. Rebeca not only cared for her, but she also read the many press reports Gellhorn published in the Spanish press. The legendary war reporter inspired Rebeca to not just follow what she saw around her, but to express what she felt about it.
