Rav-E is naturally drawn towards Bhangra, the folk music of his motherland Punjab. Not only is he a talent behind the dj decks, known for seamlessly mixing Bhangra, Hip-Hop, and Electronica on the fly, but also is an exceptional dhol palyer after having learned under the wing of world-renowned dhol master Ustad Lal Singh Bhatti. This killer combination has made Rav-E into a one of a kind versatile live performer who always leaves crowds wanting more.

In his young career, Rav-E gained recognition early on for his mix’s after receiving air time on the BBC Asian Network. Furthermore, he has had the honor of sharing the stage with some of the biggest names in the Bhangra industry such as RDB, Dr. Zeus, Bobby Friction, Juggy D, and Bikram Singh. As a member of San Francisco’s Non Stop Bhangra Collective, he has opened for artists such as Ziggy Marley, Michael Franti, Swami, and Delhi 2 Dublin as well.
