Born in Los Angeles and raised in Orange County, Raul Castro created a name for himself as a professional DJ, Swing dance instructor and top-notch performer. His 30+ years experience as a DJ and MC, coupled with his impeccable sense of style and courteous manner, have made Raul a regular at many of the local clubs including Harlot, The Red Devil Lounge, 330 Ritch, and Supperclub to name a few. As a die-hard Prince fan he has become a staple of Bay Area Prince celebrations. For the past 10 years he has provided services for the Academy of Art at their Annual Faculty Auction. He has also appeared along side major label acts such as The English Beat, The Fixx, and ABC. His ecclectic music spans ‘50s Rock & Roll, ‘60s Soul, ‘70s Disco, Classic Rock, ‘80s Old School & New Wave, Swing, Latin, Top40 and more. With a private client roster that includes Microsoft, Honda, Coca Cola and Johnson & Johnson, Raul keeps himself busy entertaining audiences in a variety of atmospheres.
