In the spirit characterizing the beginnings of electroacoustic music practice in Padua, the School of Electronic Music of the Conservatory "C. Pollini" fosters collaborations with neighboring educational and research institutions such as the University of Padua and the IUAV University of Venice. The activities of the School culminate in the Sound and Music Processing Lab (SaMPL) founded in 2010 together with the DEI Department according to the forward-thinking model of Living Labs, a distributed infrastructure for experimenting new technologies and research results in real conditions and involving the final users of innovation processes in all phases of work.
