Having left the mean streets of Birmingham to seek the bright lights of the big city, this young music lover found himself very quickly involved in the exciting very new London asian party scene. Mingling with owners of sound systems, organising all dayers, and then setting up a roadshow, his addiction to music was forever cemented.
He was then a staple in NW London for years , doing private and corporate parties, and more recently, weddings and pa hire through his DJ company Platinum-Entertainment.com, now on most weekends he can be found at his long term residency with Funky Brownz, where his friendly approachable style makes him a party DJ favourite.
DJ Raj is now very keen to share his passion and energy with the welcoming team at Traxfm, by hosting an 80’s soul and dance show, and help the station to refill the spot that it held 20+ years ago of entertaining and exciting the partygoers of the the 80s&90s through radio.
