studying abroad in Pécs, Hungary, his solo work fo

cuses on experimental hip hop with heavy jazz and lo
fi influences. Apart from this, and being a member of
the Stone Soup Collective (Cape Town) he also started
Sway.Ed, a three-piece boom bap, jazz fusion group
with guitarist Josh Hendricks and bassist Gumbo (of
Gumbo Ya-Ya’s, the Fads) who released their ‘Summer
(Time/Love)’ EP in July 2017. As a DJ, he is slowly push

ing through the scene, playing with top acts in Cape
Town, as well as with Samiyam (Stones Throw/ Brain
-
feeder USA). He was able to be in studio with MNDSGN
(Stones Throw USA).
He has performed at N.U.D.E collective,
Uppercut Wildcard, OH OK Launch, Yours Truly, House
of Machines, and has competed in Button Bashers. His
new Flower EP will be accompanied by a short film.
