Rachel Kann is an award-winning performance poet and budding DJ.

Her passion for music and for making people dance is what finally drove her to take the plunge into DJing.

She has performed her poetry with people like daKAH Hip Hop Orchestra, Sage Francis, Saul Williams, and Rahzel, at venues such as Disney Concert Hall, the San Francisco Palace of Fine Arts, and the Vans Warped Tour.

Rachel has DJd locally and nationally, including residencies at the AC in Santa Monica and Flight 18, presented by Eric Wallach and the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council in NYC.

Rachel works in Ableton Live with an APC40 and incorporates Novation's Launchpad as well as Traktor Scratch and Serato Scratch into her repertoire.
