Based in Kathmandu, Raban Rana started DJing in 2009, trying his hands at different electronic music genres before eventually discovering his passion for dark atmospheric techno. And meanwhile, his sets are as outstanding as his moniker: In a remarkably short time, DJ Rabbit propelled himself to one of the country’s most promising underground artists, gaining various club residencies, being a regular at festivals throughout the country and playing with international acts, such as Arjun Vagale, Medival Punditz, Kohra, Ankytrixx, Anish Sood, Priyanjana, Doktor Daniel and Sandunes.
Through his passion to dig for new tracks and the imagination to create spacey bass-infused sets, he has proven again and again his instinct to play some of the most vibrant gigs of the last years, progressing in the music he loves – and this is just the beginning!
