RAAJ started off as a disco mobile jockey in 1999, which naturally makes him a veteran hero in the local club scene. His love for music and versatility gave him an edge, which grabbed the attention of many local clubs in Singapore. In 2002, he founded and created his own night, Philes of Sound (POS) which aimed to deliver only the finest beats in town. Successfully kicking up a storm on the floors of big clubs. His versatility in music enables him to appeal to different crowds with dynamic and varied music tastes.
Expect only the classiest of sounds when RAAJ helms the decks, ranging from house, funk, soul, afro, disco, techno, drum n bass dub, jazz and breaks. The bottom line is as long as it’s got groove, it’s in his set. His residency includes Fashion Bar by the famous Fashion TV (FTV), Aurum by Clinic, QBAR, Hacienda, CE LA VI and KU DE TA.
