His professional career began in 1999 in Brooklyn, New York where he recorded his first single titled “Journey”. In 2001 his debut album “Journey” was also released. The acclaimed album featured Yami Bolo and Richie Spice. Qshan later embarked on a US Tour with the Star trail Family where he opened for Anthony B. He

Poised as a force to be reckoned with, his compelling lyrical content and stage presence easily commands an audience. His vocal range allows him to touch the high pitches of Al Green and the deep baritones of Barry White. He has often been compared with Dennis Brown, Luciano and Peter Tosh.
