My appearance and style probably stand in the way of a job and progress as an opera singer but I don't feel I should change my attitudes just to conform.
I've been a punk since I was 12 and I like the dress style, the fast cars and the music. I suppose my parents would like me to change my image and they complain a bit that my music is too loud but we get by with a bit of give and take. But what is the alternative? Becoming a barista at Costa Coffee?
