Psythik was born and raised in Phoenix. In 2004 he started off composing trance music, then in 2006 got together with his cousin FACEiz to produce a hip hop mixtape. In October 2009 he started DJing under the name DJ R@R. Then in June 2011 he decided he didn't like that name and changed it back to Psythik. He is currently a radio DJ for SimulatorRadio.com
