I'm sure you're already aware of them, but if you like iNfINIEN and Sleepytime Gorilla Museum, I think you and other listeners would really like Charming Hostess, especially the albums Eat and Punch, which feature SGM members. Highly recommended. Strong female vocals, intricate visceral music.
David Torn played with Bruford and Levin on BLUE - Bruford Levin Upper Extremities. If you're not familiar, it's definitely worth checking out. Lots of similarities to Sonar. Saw BLUE live a couple of times in NYC, was fantastic.
