Born Berven Mashonganyika in Kadoma, Zimbabwe he is a celebrated multi talented musician from Zimbabwe who has released a number of songs in different types of genres but mainly focusing on Afro Jazz Music. Born 25 January 1989 in Rimuka, Kadoma he is the last born in a small family of 4 he lost his parents at a tender age. He moved to South Africa early 2007 where he is currently based and focusing with his musical career.
Prince Tawanda as he is known by his supporters has released a DVD with five songs both taken from his first Afro Jazz album with songs such as Ndasuwa Nyika Yangu Ye Zimbabwe making waves across Africa and the world. With a strong voice he reminds many of the likes of Thomas Mapfumo, Oliver Mtukudzi, Brian Mteki, Fari Macheka, Jah Prayzah just to mention some of the greatest artists.
Mashonganyika has been on several newspapers ever since the start of his music career as some nicknamed him Sekuru Berv after his song Kwa Sekuru Berv which became a hit song.
