Popmyego artist couple is based in Budapest. They created POPMYEGO as a lifelong project and selftherapy. As a fineartist and a dancer they created a playground for their dreams and imaginations. They do participatory performances, live body installations, photoshooting rituals, conscious dance workshops. Their work instinctively revolves around the universal problems of human consciousness, e.g. dissolution in female / male / human / animal / and gender / racial elements, a kind of research on ‘super-universality’ and essential desires and senses. They deal with identity constructions, such as the issue of current gender roles and principles, gender identification, sexuality. In these works explore the dynamics of relationships, intimacy and sexuality, redefine the roles in the social structures from many aspects.
