Introduced to the genre by Sid Wilson of Slipknot back in 1995, Plan 9 (formerly known as Kaoss) started DJing the mash up and ragga sounds of jungle, releasing mixes and corrupting the minds of the midwest. As DNB progressed, so did Plan 9 – playing across the US, Canada and abroad, making himself known as one of the best in the states. Not only a DJ, Plan 9 has been producing since 1999, launching his own label, Cymbalism Recordings in 2003, breaking new artists and releasing music from established artists in the drum n bass and dubstep scene for 10 years. He currently holds the longest running monthly event in Omaha as well as recently being added to the MIADNB crew (www.miadnb.com). With nearly two decades of experience, Plan 9 continues to expand his musical endeavor and shows no signs of slowing down.
