Peter James Millson’s gloriously melodic 2014 debut ‘Sweet The Love That Meets Return’ (produced by Danny George Wilson) drew critical comparisons with the likes of Paddy McAloon, Jackson Browne and Roddy Frame.

Prior to that, the first E.P. – The Beautiful Truth (2013) – featured mixes by Adrian McNally (The Unthanks) and features Some Days, still a favourite, live.

2016 saw the release of the self-produced, second studio album, The Red Café. Despite being enthusiastically home-made and, with hindsight, possibly missing the help of a credible sound engineer, the record got some terrific reviews and was a favourite that year, for many people. “I think one of the most beautiful albums of the year.” – Rock and More, Spain.

The album of phone/field-recordings, Mobile (“Strong on melodies and Marxist ideals.” *** MOJO), was the result of a harebrained scheme by Peter and producer Boo Hewerdine to use only straight memo recordings from a smartphone (2017 Haven Records).
