A short history into Dj Pilzy Lee’s career
Pilzy Lee began her dj career in 2009. By chance she was offered a “bursary” to study and be the first group of girls to go through the djing course at Fuse Academy for Girls. Under the leadership of Dj Clone, Dj Zandee (Club 808 vj) and Dj Zinhle (Feminine Touch) she found her voice in music.
Combining underground Hip-hop, Soul, abstract beats and Jazz infused sounds Dj Pilzy Lee entices a specific crowd fitted with a specific ear. With her individual playing style she manages to invite an ensemble of intelligent and knowledgeable listeners and individuals who take their music very (very) seriously.
