Pierce Jackson is a director, video maker, DJ, interviewer, and magazine publisher based in New York. He directed PAPER TV for Paper Magazine and created PERFORMA TV for Performa, producing video content that spans fashion, performance, and contemporary art. His work includes collaborations with the Whitney, MoMA, The New Museum, and The Brooklyn Museum. He spent seven years working with the Bolshoi Ballet and has also directed projects for the American Ballet Theater. Pierce hosts In the Jungle on East Village Radio, a show focused on jungle music across eras. He’s currently developing a book on the rise of rave culture in New York, built around oral histories with the people who shaped it. His practice often blends editorial, documentary, and campaign work—moving between print, video, and live settings to explore underground scenes and subcultures from the inside out.
