Piano Bass Drum is an event format exploring new ways of bridging the gap between acoustic and electronic music genres.
Inspired by an old Berliner Fabrikat Piano from 1870, found in the basement of a GDR sports complex, PBD brings together guest and resident artists from various backgrounds in a Real-Time Gesamtkunstwerk. Resident artists Mandy Mozart & Thomas Prestin invite feature Musicians, Producers, Singers and Media-Artists to create a music experience merging elements of jam session, art performance and classical concert.
