JUNe focuses on landscape photography with a specific eye: he uses tilt-shift lenses to give an extraordinary aspect of ordinary objects and scenes of everyday life in Tokyo and in Japan.
He caught our eye by transforming ordinary life into mysterious, emotionally-charged abstractions. When questioned about his approach, JUNe offers this unique perspective, "I feel that my works might not be considered as art. This is because I am simply outputting unconscious memories of my childhood and results of experiments I had in my head into photographs and videos”.
His “Liliput project” series shows a miniaturized world with clean and colored objects, buildings and volumes. In reducing the depth of field, he creates unordinary areas of fuziness.
