Craig Bolton A.K.A. “DJ Phoenix” was born and raised in Chicago and has been a lover of music since he was a small child. Craig’s deep affinity for music spawned from his father’s love of music.

Craig was introduced to house music in the early 1980s and fell in love with it instantly.

Craig grew up listening to legendary house producers and DJs such as Frankie Knuckles, Andre Hatchett, Terry Hunter, Chip E, Ron Hardy, Chicago’s Hot Mix 5 and many others. It is then when Craig became fascinated with the art of DJing.
