Evgeni got introduced to electronic music around the end of the 90’s, but came back to this genre after a youth full of old school punk riffs and several hardcore bands. He turned the page in 2007 and started messing around with heavy amen drum and bass / jungle samples. Things balanced out in 2009 with the first studio mix “Autumn Leaves”, which represented the mellow shades of drum and bass. After many more mixes and several years later, Phirah’s sound became deeply fragmented with the liquid, minimalistic and experimental sub-genre shapes. Making the difference was the next step and soon the idea of “Future Sounds of Sofia” was born. Not long after, he was lucky enough to meet Robustus, Smartech & Presize and with some additional help - the concept of quality bass music for mature audiences eventually commenced.
