Philip R Darley works as a filmmaker for the BBC and has over twenty years of production experience behind him.

Philip set up the company Dare Imageries in 2017 to publish and market Pictures in a Hurry – a fictional memoir. The seven lectures on filmmaking that form the basis of his book were developed while teaching journalism and production skills in emerging economies and post-conflict zones around the world.

He holds a Master of Science degree from the University of Bristol in Politics. He is South African by birth and lives in London.

Philip continues to make films for the BBC.
