The Kitchen Sink

Wonderful track. Cheers for another super mix, Patrick - hope you're having a wonderful summer!:)

pfktoledo

Yes, a good summer, Simon. Hope yours is good too. Looking forward to your new ones. Cheers and thanks for listening!

Diony

Julian Kytasty, Stephen Marley, Tiganá Santana, Hamraz (my favs in this beautiful session)!!! 🎼 Loved Abar Kuh!!!💯 🪂🎵 Thanks for sharing dear Patrick! 🎹🖤D.

pfktoledo

I'm happy you enjoyed this, Diony, and thanks for listening! I find that on the single I received, the duo was mislabeled as Hamraz and should have been Hamraaz. And that the Armenian flute woman and the Iranian string man met at a conservatory in Rotterdam. Hope to get more of their music!

zvonimirmarković

Beautiful selection dear Patrick 👍🏼🎩 ma favs Sosyete '25, and Stephen Marley 🌟🌟

pfktoledo

Glad you enjoyed it, Zvonimir, and thanks for listening! Sosyete '25, I find, is comprised of an Istanbul-born singer songwriter and two UK musicians and the name is a Turkish word for uproar or commotion. Happily, I received the whole album, Yaygara.

Rubén Balbuena

Congratulations Patrick !! A very good set, eclectic session !! 🌞🌻🌍

pfktoledo

I'm glad you enjoyed this, Rubén, and thanks for listening!

Can't imagine anyone but you putting this lot together.
That Hanoun Brass Band tune is a great opener. I do like a tuba bassline.
Maybe my favourite track here, apart from the Ezra Collective cut which I already rated.
Nice set. 🙌

pfktoledo

Glad you enjoyed, John, and thanks for listening! New Orleans is the place for those tuba basslines!
