Behind the Retronic project is the Danish music producer Peter Trap. He startet out as a DJ in the 90ties but changed his focus to production in 2004, experimenting with a lot of different styles, including dance and classic trance. As the focus on the psytrance stage got bigger in the early 2000’s, he was captivated by the deep thumping base lines, punchy kick's and melodic leads, encouraging him to start producing his own tracks, within this awesome style of music. For some years he produced under his other alias “Trap”, releasing 5 ep’s with all of them hitting the top 100 and one top 10 on the Beatport top 100 psytrance chart. In 2014 he was ready for a change of scenery, and decided to put his Trap project to rest, and created the “Retronic” project, focusing on a high quality mix of progressive and pumping offbeat.
