Began loving Northern Soul whilst at college after being talked into going to the Cats Whiskers/Rose Room by some girls at college. circa 1973, although, at the time, I didn't realise the sounds I hd been liking for ages (like Stevie Wonder "uptight", etc, at the youth club) were what I now know as Northern Soul
